Mrs. Lana Rayes

Mrs. Rayes is the school counselor, and is so happy to be part of the Davies Elementary family.  It is so apparent how close-knit and welcoming the community is at Davies.  She feels very lucky to be part of it and to have the opportunity to pursue her passion, elementary school counseling.

Mrs. Rayes’s passion for school counseling began during her time as a classroom teacher. Mrs. Rayes has eight years of classroom teaching experience at the elementary level. What she loves most about the elementary level is the genuine curiosity students have in their learning and the world around them.  

As the School Counselor, Mrs. Rayes is able to address academic, behavioral, and personal/social needs.  She serves as the 504 Coordinator, RTI (Response to Intervention) Chairperson and School Test Coordinator.  Mrs. Rayes works very closely with administrators, teachers, parents and students to make sure individual student needs are being addressed.
